Hyrum State Park provides a great sandy beach for sunbathing and picnicking.   If you’re an angler the reservoir provides perch, bluegill, trout, and bass.  Enjoy boating and kayaking on the reservoir and camping in the designated campground with rv parking and cabin rentals.

Blacksmith Fork Canyon

Just a few miles east of Hyrum’s town square, Blacksmith Fork Canyon provides a nature getaway with many trails for running, hiking, and biking.  There are also several camping locations and roads to explore with ATV’s.  Great family fun.

Hardware Ranch

Hardware Ranch provides great opportunities for seeing wildlife, hiking and other outdoor recreation. You can catch several trout species in 15 miles of streams and rivers.  Elk viewing is most popular in the winter.
