Cache Coffee and More.
Ok. We know by now. I don’t drink coffee. But I LOVE coffee shops, one step in this place and you know, this one is different.
I ordered my typical doctored up cocoa (normally I go in, say I want hot chocolate which I drink year round, and ask how they can make it special for me), grateful for how kind the owners were to me. And I went on my way, enjoying my delicious peppermint cocoa. Actually I was pleasantly surprised how good it is. But then I started researching the company, and guys this one IS different.
The mission behind Cache Coffee
Cache coffee is owned by Mindie and her husband Jamie Buttars. They are great advocates for suicide support and awareness. There is even a safe in their shop, the owners will hold any weapon in the safe for anyone who is going through a mental or suicidal crisis. They lost their own friend to suicide.
Cache Coffee is also the location of events like Veterans Game nights Fridays at 7, and mental health workshops for Veterans. So cool to be giving back to our community this way.

Not only can you order fresh coffee and the likes, there is also a wall of clothing and packaged coffee. I didn’t get a great photo of the menu but I’m giving you a great idea of how creative their menu choices are.
